As an Electrical Engineer from VJTI Mumbai – Class of 1993, I have had my basics sorted in the Electrical domain. I went on to do an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai University and have completed programs on ‘Marketing in a Digital World’ from University of Illinios & ‘Introduction to Blockchain Technologies’ from INSEAD, Singapore. Starting with consumer durables for Carrier Aircon, I have spent a large part of my career in telecom for marquee organizations like Tata Teleservices, Reliance, and Idea Cellular (now Vodafone Idea) working across the spectrum with Product Management, Business operations, Business Strategy, Value Added Services, Digital platforms and similar. Having dabbled with entrepreneurship and start-up ideas in the EV and Consumer IOT domain for a while, I then joined TATA Power and got a chance to lead these very verticals. Did some path breaking work at Tata Power and put the EV business – Tata Power EZ Charge in pole position.. much ahead of any competition. Subsequently joined the wider canvas of Jio BP (A JV between Reliance and British Petroleum) as Chief Operating Officer.
